Ramblings: The John Hagee Controversy
John Hagee as shown in a previous video on this site promoting his new book In Defense of Israel seems confused on the Gospel. From his own statements it seems he believes that Jesus is not the Messiah (or Christ) to the Jews. Hagee has in my opinion been evasive at times in whether he believes Jews can go to Heaven apart front Christ.
Here is my first post on this subject

Sola Dei Gloria examines Hagee's Teachings in his new book

The Bible Wheel has has written a review of Hagee's In Defense of Israel in which they rip apart his book as heresy

Rev. Ken Silva of Apprising Ministries writes an interesting piece with references to Hagee's beliefs that are very disturbing. You can also watch the video that has created the controversy

Hagee has responded to the controversy in a letter to Mike Corley. I love the fact, Hagee calls it a simple explanation which in fact it will have most orthodox Christians scratching their heads.

Hello Randy,
My brother pastor, I didn't find an email addy I wanted to let you know that there is a grammatical wrror here:
"The Bible Wheel has wrote a review..." It should be "has written".
Also since you wrote this post, just today I have combined Hagee's response to my friend Mike Corley, added some important new info, and still included that heretical video in this new piece:
John Hagee Responds to Controversy Over His Teaching on the Messiah

Randy, you did a great service here in gathering this information into one post. If you want to make the changes I suggest I'd love to pick up this post at both CRN and Apprising Ministries.
The Lord be praised He has seen fit to grant me large readerships at both sites - over 2500 a day - and I'd love to be able to share some of this attention by sending traffic over to your blog here.
*psst...whispering* But don't tell anyone that I'm actually a nice guy...it'll ruin my rep. 8^)
Thanks Bro. Ken, for pointing out the grammatical error. May God bless you in your ministry.
Gret job gathering all the links to such useful resources. I have posted a link to your article on my blog: www.preachtoday.blogspot.com
I will also post a link on my Sermonaudio page:
